We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team! You will play a key role in supporting anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in the delivery of safe and effective anesthesia care.
Responsibilities:- 5x8 or 2x12 shifts
- 0530 start time, may vary up to 0700 start time
- Assist anesthesia providers with the preparation and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications used during anesthesia procedures
- Set up and calibrate anesthesia machines, monitors, and other related equipment
- Ensure proper operation and cleanliness of anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Support patient preparation prior to anesthesia, including positioning and monitoring setup
- Assist with invasive line setups (arterial, central, and IV lines) under provider supervision
- Maintain inventory of anesthesia supplies and medications in all anesthetizing locations
- Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies as part of the surgical support team
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Previous experience (at least 2 years) as an Anesthesia Technician or in a perioperative setting preferred
- Certification as an Anesthesia Technician or Technologist (Cer.A.T. or Cer.A.T.T.) preferred
- Familiarity with anesthesia machines, ventilators, and monitoring systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with anesthesia providers and surgical teams
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Must have current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred
