We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.

• Position Title: Surgical Technologist
• Schedule: 5x8 shifts or 2x12 shifts
• Start Time: 0530 (may vary up to 0700 start time)
• Certifications Required: ACLS and PALS
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and sterile supplies are available before procedures
• Set up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes according to protocol
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies as needed
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure smooth workflow during procedures
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after surgery to maintain accurate inventory and patient safety
• Handle surgical specimens appropriately for laboratory analysis
• Clean, restock, and prepare operating rooms for subsequent procedures
• Monitor patient safety and assist with patient positioning and draping before surgery
• Collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and procedures

• Previous experience (at least 2 years) in the surgical technologist space.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Active Nursing License
• BLS
